There isn't a more proficient team at stranding runners in scoring position with no outs.

I guess that's what Molitor gets for batting Danny Santana in the two-hole.

On the bright-side, finally something you can't really blame TR for.

LOL, Dick.  "I wonder with a new runner on second base if they changed their signs."

It would seem to me, Dick, that with a NEW runner on second base, who hasn't been standing there observing, that the need to change signs, if there was one, would be gone.

this is getting old quickly.  I know, it's only 4 games.  How many games until it matters, again?

I wonder if Dozier runs into Escobar at the end of that play, if there was a chance for an obstruction call.

Ok, AJ Pierzinski.

Awful at bat. Literally anyone else would have been a better option. Terrible team right now.

like I said earlier, 'worse plate discipline on the team facing the best reliever in baseball over the last three years.'

Remember, the games in April don't mean as much as the games in September.

Or is it "It's a long season and it's only 4 games and no team is going to win them all."

On the up side, Twins pitching is holding the opposing team to 4 runs. Definitely an improvement over the start of last year.

The down side? Opposing pitching is keeping the Twins under 4 runs.

Yep, we haven't lost in a laugher quite yet!

Not sure what some of these guys are using as their approach when they go to the plate but it's pretty f-ing terrible.  Bruno needs to sit a few of these guys down (Bux, Sano especially) and drill into them what a strike looks like and to swing at it and what a strike doesn't look like and to not swing at it.  Yeah, easy to say when you're sitting on a leather couch but these first 4 games have been a comical, pathetic effort.

The throw back to Escobar for the tag beat Dozier by a step but if he could have run full-bore into Escobar before the throw got there, yeah, he definitely could have gotten an obstruction call.  Whether or not the umpires would have seen it that way is a different story, though.

g'night all.

I'll have better jokes next time, I promise. I'm off to an 0-4 start.

This line of reasoning doesn't necessarily bode well...

Just remember, who laughs last, laughs best...

Maybe i can come up with a joke or tutu. Er, i mean two too.
