This debate is supposed to center on foreign policy, correct?

This would seem like an opportunity for Trump to let us know if he has one, but I won't hold my breath.

I thought his foreign policy was to let the Russians destroy ISIS just like they've been doing in Syria for the last two years. Thanks Putin!

How does anyone watch Lee Camp without activating their gag reflex? That guy is one of the least funny mother****ers on the planet.

Oy. I can't stand him. He tries so, so hard to be Stewart/Colbert but he. just. is. not. funny.

Was this in relation to some prior comment? There are plenty of unfunny comics out there. How did you happen to laser in on this one today? :)

The reality of a Trump presidency in relation to Syria seems potentially clear. One can imagine a situation in which Putin reaches out to Trump to have this meeting with Assad. Assad comes across in person to Trump as this manly, powerful guy, and Assad--on Putin's suggestion--flatters Trump with a similar description of a bold powerful guy willing to actually meet with him. And then, because Trump isn't strong at all, he capitulates to Putin's plan to allow for Assad with Russian help to smash all the rebels. Israel and Saudi Arabia lose their ****.

I know i was going to post about this from other countries point of view, but I've been too drunk. In reality, we all know what is happening, and so does everyone else. The embarrassing thing, is that everyone else in the world also knows what's happening. Then i have to break down what's happening in American politics, and it gets complicated. It also feels life an excuse. Just sucks doesn't it.

Trump was better. He had obviously prepared and on the split screen it was fascinating to observe how he resisted his normal facial expressions.  To his credit he did a hell of a job at composure.

That said, Hillary's potshots got to him.  He eventually got weirdly obtuse and refused to legitimize the election.  This guy, "I'll keep you in suspense, okay."

Hillary played defense, and obscured her accusations rather than addressed them head on, but Trump jumped the shark, and piddled nonsense far too often.

tldr, trumps best debate

The Clinton/Kaine poster in the front lawn might also be a tipoff to the neighbors.

What, the NM Republican Party thinks there are a bunch of voters talking big about Trump, but in the secrecy of the voting booth will snivel and vote for Her?

A delusional mind is a turrible thing to waste.

He was fine for about 20 minutes and then she got under his skin. He interrupted her repeatedly, called her a nasty woman, lied repeatedly, repeated phrases over and over every 5-6 seconds, refused to admit that Russia is behind the hacking, jabbered incoherently about Syria and Iraq, contradicted himself about his stance on NUCLEAR weapons, and said he would keep us in suspense about conceding the election if he loses.

I think it was probably his WORST performance, actually.

So, if someone smarter than me can help with this...

Hillary's proposal for "debt-free" college.... And that bill would be supported by the state government. Considering the state also foots the bill for road construction, new sports stadiums, and countless other things, how can they manage another huge bill without either going bankrupt, or cutting back on other things we need such as road construction?

It's a stupid plan.....but, states used to pay a much larger share of public college tuition...but as we decided taxes and government were evil, we changed that.

There are many ways to fix this, but the real issue is that costs are rising too fast...because we do so many more things that are NOT about education now, among other reasons.

The state contributions are waning, but the cost inflation preceded that.  Largely due to the enormous amounts of federal money influencing things.

I like that we're talking about fixing college debt (it'd be the single smartest economic recovery plan I can imagine), but the problem starts with fixing federal financial aid and holding colleges more accountable for their spending.

Might as well start early - lord knows the Republican field certainly has.

What does everyone think the big issues are going to be that decide this race as we sit about a year and change away from the election?

It's been quiet, so I thought I'd revisit the post that started this thread. I haven't quite finished reviewing the entire thread yet, but who had yelling at the parents of a dead soldier, grabbing by the genitals, and refusing to commit to accept the election results, as pertinent issues? Show of hands.

Also, no mention of Trump until page 3.

I totally had it. Just wanted to show some humility and let all of you discover it as it unfolds....

I missed on the impeachment of the dead soldier's parents - figured on that coming from the Libtard side - forgot that teh muslins bleed too. Kudos on completing the trifecta.

In fairness, I'm considering open revolt with pitchforks and torches counts as "not accepting the results"

The nature of the impending revolt might change my success rate....

This "rigged" election stuff drives me to distraction. There are so many layers to refute. Has the media favored Clinton? That's really a tough question. I know that many editorials have favored Clinton, but that is editorials. No person has ever gotten more free publicity than the Donald. As far as fixing the election, every election official should be incensed by that implication. I do expect voter fraud stories to arise and mostly be shot down. IMHO, the biggest voting issue is the blatant suppression brought on by the GOP.
