We have a PWA right now, which works like an app. One of the things I'll be working on with this redesign is a dedicated, downloadable app. I'd put odds of it happening at 50/50. There are a great number of tools that help with app creation now, which didn't exist just a few years ago. As for the PWA, here is how you create that. It works well now, will work even better after the relaunch. thelanges5 and bean5302 2

Twinsrtheworst Verified Member Posted Sunday at 04:32 PM Posted Sunday at 04:32 PM Well you asked. So here goes. Honestly, the reach and impact of TD lost a lot of its charm. But it’s not because the reasons stated Brock. It’s pretty sad, but I guess you guys just couldn’t see it. I appreciate everything you, Seth, and others have done. Unfortunately the desire to stay as narrow minded as possible has impacted the ability to be of use to most Twins fans. Unless you fall into the “sell the Twins”, “fire the Pohlands”, or “so and so player is garbage”. There’s no room for varying opinions. When TD became very vindictive and pushing the agenda of 3 or 4 moderators, well you choke off your fans. I welcome you tell me I am wrong. However introduce me to any one of the moderators that has not publicly stated there hate of the team, fans, or players. I will wait. C-Gangster 1

Linus Verified Member Posted Sunday at 08:50 PM Posted Sunday at 08:50 PM I would like to add that I think the moderators do a good job. They let things happen and only get involved when things go off the rails. I for one am tired of characterizations that TD posters are all negative or too Pollyanna or anything in between. If you’re online, you’ve been active in the past X number of minutes. I don’t recall the exact number, probably 5-30. This is what the online box looks like to me. Do you see something different?

I've never had a reason to open a "private" Firefox window and have a look at what the rest of the world sees, first thing before I start activities. Maybe I'll remember tomorrow.

So how are they doing a good job if they are the ones doing it. LAVikings to be more specific.

It’s great that you volunteer. I volunteer in different areas in my community. Being a volunteer does not give someone a right to not follow policy of TD. Or to discriminate against others or to push your own agenda. Or does it?I would be more than happy to volunteer my time. If anything volunteer moderators should be held to higher standards.

I don't know how feasible it is, but it's going into the notes for sure. One of the things we're considering is a totally different style of front page that is effectively a twitter-style feed. This idea kinda slots into that concept, though there are a ton of details to work out. For what it's worth, I'm an avid reader and engager specifically because the the format and UI are unlike social media "feeds." Mike Sixel 1
