So you think we are finishing 3rd in our division? C’mon. Is this a real prediction? That sounds like a loser mentality.. If we add a piece, I’m betting we not only win the division, but the first rd as well., then who knows? Like how many prospects do you need? This year has been exciting baseball. Who is against excited to watch meaning games. You know what prospects get you, a higher graded farm systems, lower payroll for the owners. And let’s face it, It is high odds that you ended up with lesser players than you traded, Most won’t make an impact, let alone a franchise altering impact. You just lower the payroll.. is that the goal?

Twins fans should remain optimistic about the 19-year-old’s long-term prospects. Still, it feels more likely that he'll reach the majors in 2029 than that it could happen by 2027…………………………I have to say, If anybody thought at any point, that Tait had even an outside shot of being a MLB catcher at the age of 20 in 2027.. I’d have to question either the sanity or their baseball acumen. Those fans or writers fans expecting that kind of ascension threw the minors for a catcher to the majors, well I see why so many fans are left feeling disappointed in a player. Completely absurd expectations are being set. So I expect to read a lot of articles about how we should give up on Tait in the next 1-3 years. I am an eternal optimist, with some baseball knowledge. I’d never expect a catcher to be ready by age 20-21. That’s just asking to be extremely disappointed.

If you follow the Ywins, I believe you do. You know due to injuries and other factors Emma, Jenkins, and Culpepper havnt pushed that decision, yet. Many of the kids have been called up. Did you see Rosen for example last night? Morris, Raya, others. If there goal was to put fans into the seats, they would called them up before they were ready. So your assumption carries no water. As far as fans, not showing up and tuning out. Yes you may have and others have tuned out for years now. Do you think any team we could have put together would be favorites over the Dodgers? That being said, I honestly expect a good run to the division title this season and a first round win. Not a championship, but a climb up the latter this season compared to last. Talking to the players, They won’t say it publicly but, they love playing in front of fans. The Twins have out performed your pre season expectations. Don’t they deserve credit for that?

Sorry my realistic optimism angered you. Was I replying to you Woof? But since you addressed me. Let me ask is this your only name on here, WoofBonzer? Curious. But that’s the point Woof, if you think being a fan means calling for a boycott of the boys on our team. That is in no way a definition of the word fan. You and a lot of the moderators have an agenda. An agenda to convince fans to not show up for these boys on our team. Allow US fans to enjoy what this team is going to accomplish this season. Are all Minnesota fans so downtrodden as yourself? I’m honestly curious.

Can’t all the same things you said about ownership be applied to the fan base? Tentative sheep for example. With so many fans following the herd of not supporting a fun team this year. All offseason it was let’s boycott the Twins, And as far as reactionary instead of being proactive. You like many vowed to not watch them or support the Twins untill they put a winner on the field or fire this guy or that guy. Then when a segment herd of fans get what they want, they find another excuse or reason to not support the team. I mean you are a moderator for a supposed Twins fan sight, and don’t seem to like anything the Twins do? Doesn’t make sence to me.Let’s be PROACTIVE and support theses kids, enjoy it, and you will be surprised. Or I guess continue as you are and be REACTIVE to everything you don’t like about the Twins and let me know how that works out for ya.

Twins "Captain America" Plays Real American Hero
Twinsrtheworst replied to Seth Stohs's topic in Twins Minor League Talk
Appreciate the article Seth!. -
I didn’t mean it personally. It isn’t random though honestly. So many players get ripped on this sight. I can point to 100s of articles and thousands of comments calling this or that player a bum, loser, weak, incompetent and various other random derogatory names. About players they don’t even know. Point being, these guys are doing so much good on and off the field. So much! And it never gets talked about on here. So I did assume TD knew.. I can’t be the only fan that sees all there kindness and love they share. I don’t write or cover the Twins in any way. I assumed it was swept under the rug because there selfless acts are never discussed on here. And I can’t understand why? If we talk only about what a player isn’t, and never talk an about who they are…how can we appreciate them? So many offseason articles and comments about how bad having hope is. This is what hope looks like and does.

Jenkins with a big day. Catching a young boy from falling over pregame and carrying him off the field. Prayers for the young man. IMO it deserves a mention in the article, not swept under the rug. Shoutout to Walker.

I appreciate your take. But I believe if you actually watched him pitch you would see the growth from last year and potential is there, his commitment is there, the experience is not there..yet. Did you expect an instant star? Rarely do prospects in a new role ever start the first 3 months as adamant success stories. Having watched him in person on Twins Tv, MiLB tv as well. To judge a player by live feeds and 2 months doesn’t validate anything unfortunately your statement that he can’t be counted on. That you can count on.

Are we talking about the same Sabato that was strongly criticized and demanded to be cut by all the brainiacs on TD. The same guy that I said trust me there’s more in the tank. I’m starting to question the thought process and legitimacy of the commenters of TD.. Bean are you there? Hello!

Out of curiosity, were did that fellow go that was lighting up the boards about referring Tom P to as tough talking Tom? Just curious. Were did that maniac go? Just disappeared. He was always around then season starts…poof disappeared. I’m guessing he was a character created by a writer under a different username?

Royce Lewis Needs to Have an Open Mind
Twinsrtheworst replied to Tom Froemming's topic in Twins Minor League Talk
Nope, he’s just the new, insert player name, in a long line to get trashed on here. It’s what generates clicks, and revenue for this sight. It is what it is. Low hanging fruit basically. -
Royce Lewis Needs to Have an Open Mind
Twinsrtheworst replied to Tom Froemming's topic in Twins Minor League Talk
Has anybody, any person on here had any meaningful conversation with Royce? No? Well he should definitely be taking advice from such brilliant people. I love that everyone has a solution for him. How are you not all running major league organizations? Or at minimum major league players? I mean every one has the recipe, I just wonder how so many that know what he needs to do have failed to achieve anything close to what he has. Oh, it’s because he doesn’t take advice from people who are full of opinions but lack any knowledge of what it actually takes.. He’s available, why doesn’t anybody above with a solution tell him the solution. Instead of sharing it to others that know nothing of him and little about baseball. -
Royce Lewis Needs to Have an Open Mind
Twinsrtheworst replied to Tom Froemming's topic in Twins Minor League Talk
Well the fact that the writer states.”.Sure, his ACL might explode again at any moment out there, but what’s left to protect?” Absolutely disgusts me. He has a life outside of baseball. I truly hope you don’t make a living by your writing. He is a human being first and foremost, understand that before you write about anybody. -
I appreciate that. Thanks for the laugh! Keep on keepin on

I promise you, I am none of those. I’ve been nothing but kind, full of hope, and encouraging. I’ve just been around here long enough to realize those are not qualities encouraged here. I’m sorry that it offended you so much.
