  1. I didn’t like the jerseys at first glance. But before I term anything ugly, I found out the context of them. These were not the jerseys worn during the 24 run game. Second, the jerseys were auctioned off with great success and for a great cause. So I guess one persons ugly becomes someone’s blessing. It was a great week of Mussles baseball for sure.
  2. Heck yes, also Eric Hammond 7 innings and no runs. Undrafted signing. Great kid as well.
  3. If you pay for TwinsTV you can watch the minor league teams as well. Thats what I do anyways
  4. I just can’t imagine ever speaking to anybody like this. And I understand the shock that someone would cross that line. However I am reminded of so comments on this sight calling a group of people losers. I couldn’t ever refer to anybody as a loser. Of course I was sharply ridiculed by a moderator for saying something about it. I just can’t support hatred of any person a group.I just hope I’m not the only one that feels that way.
  5. To answer your question of what’s going on. The Twins are a competitive team. Noticed it at spring training. I tried telling people to not bail before the season starts. Unfortunately you listened to the loud majority geniuses around these parts. Even though historically the loudest most persistent opinions on here are almost always wrong. Actually it’s true in every day life as well. But heck what do I know.
  6. I truly did, I seen this season going along the lines of . 500 ball then deadline moves decide the second half.. Been saying all offseason to anyone predicting last place, or under 70 wins. I would take all the bets on over. Surprisingly, no takers??…
  7. I agree with a previous poster. Move em to North Carolina. We will welcome them either way open arms. Heck bring us the Saints as well. Obviously most fans on TD aren’t going to support the team even in a playoff season..2023.
  8. I have kind of a unique question. for Nick or anyone else that might know the answer. Why are the headlines of articles posed as a question. Such as Can the 2026 Twins Avoid Being a Disaster Defensively? If the author already knows the answer to the question, why not just tile the headline as a statement. And based on the responses, the commenters know the answer already. Heck they are even certain they have the solution to solve any issue in the organization. Just an observation, but what do I know 😉
  9. Should we cut him, trade him, or tell him he can not go.
  10. So we have now reached a point where we believe we should tell players what and what not to think! That doesn’t sound right to me. If it matters to Joe, and is medically cleared. Why would any fan that doesn’t even know him want to control his thought process?
  11. I agree, kind of deflating coming on here at times. I come here to maybe learn something that I might not be aware of. But over the past year it’s just turned into trying to offer a brighter outlook and to try and stick up for our prospects. Seems like they get kicked and degraded constantly before the age of 23 or even reach the majors. I am on a Twins fan sight because I am a Twins fan. If I wanted non stop extreme pessimistic takes, I’d just watch the news. To many people twisting numbers, ages, and data to fit a narrative. I don’t need someone every day telling me how rough of shape the team is in. I have my own 2 eyes,
  12. That is a solid question. One I haven’t the answer for yet. But I know I am not ready to give up on him before his first MLB at bat as Bean has.. I put more stock in what the coaches say than what Bean says, and no offense. I expect struggles at times, but also expect adjustments. Honestly I don’t see it as only two possible outcomes, struggle horribly vs success. But as continued development and somewhere between the 2 extremes.. And to that point he isn’t out of options yet, so I will allow this season to determine what happens going forward as opposed to writing him off at the age of 22/23. But I get your point as well, but there has been more than injuries that can cost a prospect time, without going into detail. Having followed him closely from before he signed with us, I believe in his talent to figure it out in the next 12-24 months.
  13. He has age 23,24,25,26… 4 seasons Before his age 27 season though. I mean wouldn’t house seasons matter first?
  14. But were is the data about the player we are talking about, Rodriquez, showing he doesn’t have the talent to make a mlb roster?
  15. First comparing Emma to Keirsey isn’t the most logical comparison. So I see how you might have been confused into thinking Keirsey was ever going to be more than he is. Totally different players. Second, he hasn’t debuted due to lack of talent, but due to availability, and you probably don’t know that availability isn’t always just injury related. Development is not linear and no two paths are alike. You can base your decisions on twisting around ages and throwing out untrue numbers and ages of players, as you wish. No need to mislead others though. And in the end being that it’s your or mine, opinions are just that, not factual. We will see how this pans out. I am of the belief he is good enough to make the roster and will enjoy watching him prove you wrong.
