    Since you quoted me, where did I state I’m against adding talent? What is it that makes me a homer? I don’t even reside in Minnesota. I advocate adding talent to improve the roster. Let me ask you , what trades and suggestions do you have???

    Once again you go on a tangent of quoting things I never said. I never stated everything is fine . It’s not. And you f you or I think we are going to make changes, then we are screwed, and I actually am informed more than most on the state of affairs with the organization. Knowing many of the players, I will root for them every single day and twice on Sunday. But ya go ahead and keep saying so and do is going to peter out. If they do you get to be right. If they don’t you just repeat it next year.

    Well the Twins did make the past season 2 years ago and still have a chance to this year. But ya congrats on picking your favorite team to lose every year. Sounds like a fun way to be.

    I say stay the course. If at the trade deadline we stay afloat AND it looks like Lopez and Mathews are recovering as expected. Then we trade prospects for a bat if there is a trade to be had. Until then we continue to develop our pitchers like Festa and SWR. If our depth can keep us in contention until the deadline and return of 2 SP we have a shot. If we are out of it or Pablo and Zebby are not recovering as anticipated, there really is no reason to believe any sensible trade could save the season at that point. Just my thoughts.

    Yes, we are better off to fix the known flaw in our player or at least minimize it…in my opinion.

    Out of curiosity, are there any truly successful long relievers around anymore? I honestly don’t know, I only watch the Twins and yes Sands was used as one a couple seasons back. But is it something a majority of contending teams use? I could see some of the much lesser teams possibly using them, not sure. I’m Not against it but seams like a hard position to excel at in today’s game.

    Seems like whenever the Twins are rolling, we get these kind of articles and opinions of complete overreaction to something that is really nothing at all. He’s had 55 AB this season. The sky is not falling, but I get it. Twins are playing great and showing what it takes to win. But hey don’t let me spill any kind of optimism about Royce or any of the other players. Let’s just cut him I suppose and bring up say Holland. Sounds like a plan.

    That same people all calling for McCusker to get some run with the big leagues team now...are the same ones saying we need to lower our K%. Do we reall6 want a 30-35% k percentage again? I'm fine with it if he's hitting bombs..but most are not and just keep screaming for the next guy to come up with no idea of who he is as a hitter and then there are roster and position considerations. But what do I know.

    I'm sure it much easier to be engaged playing almost every day than from the IL. That being said I don't really recall him not being engaged even from the bench.

    You got some good points about the past 4 years. I'm not a resident of Minnesota, so I dont hear much of the local media there,that makes sence. I do watch alot of Twins baseball and spend a month or so at Spring training and visit the minors throughout the year. So I definitely don't put much stock in media reports about prospects. Can usually watch players and prospects and have a decent feel for there talent...though that rarely equals success. Thanks for the response.

    I watch and honestly doesn't affect me that some poll says they are unwatchable. Also I been hearing that "they" over hype our players and prospects. My genuine question is, who is "they"?

    There is a legitimate reason he has not been playing.. He isn't 100 percent healthy is all I can say.

    Why do you think The Twins judged his minor league work to be a mirage?

    They started earlier this year. I only know it was a planned event. But unfortunately I am not sure why they adjusted the dates.

    Could be because the Florida Complex league started and finished earlier this year than the past. Many are in "fall instructionals" now also.

    Had the awsome opportunity to meet him at The Complex. Another high character guy and great personality. Praying for the best for this young man.

    He did recieve a nice signing bonus. I think he would honestly not rush to the big leagues for a short term payday. My opinion is he would rather have a long healthy MLB career as opposed to rushing and getting "MLB money" for a short period. But just my opinion.

    I still 100 percent believe in Raya. Development isn't an exact science. I know most want to see him prove it to dignity the high rating. Yes they are developing him slow...but in my opinion it will be well worth it. Trust the plan and talent with Marco.

    Great fun information Seth, thank you. I am literally packing my home and relocating to Fort Myers for the main reason of being able to watch and support the Mussels and FCL Twins. Call me crazy but only live once..as far as I know. I've made many friends through out the organization threw spring training and in season games. Keep up with the great work Seth.

    To me it's like most things in life...just a matter of perspective. Just can't make some people happy as they will only see the downside...and yes I get everything has a downside. Since we share our opinions on here this is mine. I will continue to support and purchase the Twins "product". I enjoy baseball and am willing to pay for it if I can. To each there own. Others not choosing to do so is there pergrogitive. Doesn't need to be a devisive issue. Do or do not.

    I like the defensive chops of Ross. Just need his bat to develop, I believe it will. But just my opinion.
