    93 wins in my opinion, as well as a series playoff win. There just seemed to be more urgency at spring training this year than in years past..hard to quantify I know. Exciting season for sure!

    No worries. I am kinda the same way. I fly solo most of the time. Always looking for something cool or unique and stay pretty mobile there. The coaches always comment to me how they are talking to me one minute then they turn around and see me across the fields the next..lol. I did pass you guys. Glad you had a great time

    Not to speak for John's experience here. But this past week I made it to 4 games. Hammond stadium was pretty filled to compacity. Now that being said, It was games against The DR, Red Sox, and the Yankees. I would venture a guess 50 % + of the crowd was visiting teams fans. I'd guess the picture John put in was a game from a different time. I believe we have the Pirates tomorrow so it will be interesting to see the turn out. Now that spring training has really ramped up it honestly is alot more crowded as compared to the previous weeks. However not many fans seem to venture to the back fields. Some great action back there. Of course it's easier for me because I don't have kids and it's much easier for me to spend from 8 am untill 430 or so pm...just soaking it all in and walking field to field. Go Twins 🌞!

    Buxton was swinging the bat really well in live BP on yhe back fields today. Hope to see him taking the field soon.

    Dominican Republic team showed up at Fort Myers today. Turned out to be a nice treat to watch. Nice seeing Nelson Cruz on our fields again.

    Was able to watch the game. Wow that stadium was empty. Could hear alot due to no crowd noise.

    Forgive me for asking this here. But for anybody that is at or has been to Fort Myers this year...any thoughts on places to stay. My normal go to is spring hill suites...but is expensive this year. I'm looking for something around $220 a Night that is decent? Any help is appreciated. Thankyou. Sorry if this hijacks the thread..not my intention.

    I agree he is a very talented individual. But will be struggles along the way. I'm a believer in him...but I don't expect him to exhaust his rookie status by age 21. Maybe getting feet wet. Everything would have to go right. Though I'd never bet against it either considering his makeup.

    Lots of talented people to choose from. I'm still riding the EMMA train as my choice. This years high pick will be in play as well for this spot by 2025.

    I agree probably wouldn't take this deal and his agent would advise him to pass as well. However if he did accept a deal like this or similar. Simply does not mean he isn't a competitor. Not sure of that reasoning. I think we all have seen just how competitive this young man is. If he wasn't a competitor he wouldn't have made it this far.

    I agree. Glad I finally yumoed into the caretaker fund fun with y'all. I have 14 days and counting till I can attend. Reading this new material is only making me more excited...and almost unbearable to my not yet retired wife! 🙃

    I'm guessing you were not big on somebody like Buxton to start. Considering he was all defense/glove and no bat first few years.

    Not sure we're to put this..so I will drop it here. There is a great program called Adopt A Minor Leaguer. I joined because well long story.... Anyways it has lead to life long frienships...which is secondary only to the fact many players can use the help. I would write an article about it, however my writing skills are subpar. If anybody has any questions Google it or feel free to ask me. Thanks!
