mrmpls Verified Member Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Will the Phillies and Twins wear special uniforms? Yes. The Phillies' gray road uniforms are inspired by the same unis the team wore from 1939-41 while the Twins’ home uniforms are inspired by their original jerseys from the 1960s.

Perfect setting for it, the Field of Dreams game. Buxton return was somewhat timed in my view due to the big event. Hope I am wrong, but I am suspicious how long it will last. Dan Hayes said there might be issues with where the players can even stay overnight if they have to play tomorrow. MLB teams are required to stay in at least 4 star hotels? Will be interesting to see how this shakes out today - tomorrow looks like it could be wet in Dyersville too.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Wow, Aaron Nola has been really bad this year. Leads the league in homers surrendered.

thelanges5 Verified Member Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Theo Tollefson: The Twins have activated Byron Buxton for the Field of Dreams game. Both the Twins and Phillies are allowed 27 players for tonight's game, so there is no corresponding move. Patzky, Cory Engelhardt, Vanimal46 and 2 others 5
umterp23 Verified Member Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Active tonight with no move but that will change when they get back to Minneapolis and resume normal homestand. Can’t imagine who gets the boot, my preference is Jackson as I don’t see Buxton playing many games in the field

He may DH tonight if the field is wet, otherwise I fully expect he will be in CF 2/3 or 3/4 depending on series length. Cory Engelhardt and Hunter4848 1 1
