has anyone asked Shelton about it ??

I would have to go back and listen to it, but I do believe he was asked by Declan Goff from the YT channel SKOR North Twins Show.  Shelton's answer was that he was going to let them be aggressive on the challenges until they build up some stats as the season goes on.

The decision tree is the tree I yank out of the ground and beat you with when you make a silly challenge in the 1st inning.

I think Bailey Ober could make his four-seam fastball more effective by developing a cutter and he should throw his sinker more often to get more whiffs on his changeup...

There was a great article on TD today about his changeup usage.

Another YT channel, Brodie Brazil, did an analysis on the early results of the ABS challenges.  The Twins have been far and away the most aggressive in using their challenges with 10 more challenges than the next team.  For all of those challenges, they have actually been at a good success rate (67.9%), which would likely be higher if Wallner was not allowed to challenge anymore. 🙂

That link is here:

"You should never challenge the ABS thing when you think you might be wrong." -- also Yogi Berra

I'm not sure if this is correct but I looked it up, the last time the Twins scored 6 runs in the first inning was July 18, 1962 vs the Cleveland Indians.

Yeah I'm not one that thinks all pitchers must throw 100, but with his change up at 83 it would be nice to see him at like 91 - 92?

Took my granddaughter to the zoo earlier today.

We came upon a French  baguette in a cage. She asked me "What is that, Grandpa?"

"Well sweetie, that's bread in captivity."

Nice job, Bailey.

Bailey been doing alright tonight. Hopefully his velocity ticks up on fastball when it warms up. He throws a nice curveball, when he is locked in.

Not doubting you but that seems impossible.
