I am just disappointed that I am not watching the game with a bottle of Jack Daniels near me.

Austin Martin the end of ‘25 stud has the same AVG as his SLG at .214. Granted he gets on base and I don’t hate the guy but no XBH in 7 games. Just another example of a flawed system that is not going to age well. I’m ready for new blood making mistakes and at least learning with a long leash.

I just looked it up for tonight.  He does have 1 minor league option remaining.

The camera person zoomed out and I got to see TC Bear over the dugout.  At first glance, it looked like he had a paper bag over his head.  Just turned out to be a blanket due to it being cold.

Agreed. But looking at the bullpen chart here on TD, the relievers left tonight is Sands and Laweryson (back to back). I imagine Funderburk, Orze, and Topa are off the table tonight. This game is already over so Kent will throw his max amount of pitches and get sent down tomorrow for a fresh arm - Altavilla is my guess

I don't hate Martin either but I doubt he is an everyday player. 

Yet with no expectations for the Twins this year, might as well give Martin a whole season to find out.
