As a fan of all baseball -especially this time of year,  having to watch the  Cleveland fellas and Tigers-  only pisses me off more ,   Friggin Pohlads really stuck a fork in our craws,,   only out has to be selling

Now that ABS challenge is implemented for 2026 what are your thoughts?

I like the new strategy it brings to the game. Do you take your challenge early in the game? Wait until the later innings? I imagine every team is going to treat it differently. Will be interesting to see the results

Welp, hunkering down over here, schools and airport closed, so naught all to do but follow some ball.  As long as the internets don't go down too.

Winds up over 100 km (rising to 150 later) and sideways rain, and ain't no way I'm taking the dog out in this mess. 😅

So, go Twins, I guess. ⚾

The other night, had Kershaw/Dodgers final home start of the season on the radio.  Rick Monday got all reflective over watching him over the last 17 years. I found myself getting melancholy.

It is like speeding past the road signs on the highway at 70 mph. You glance at them and then...they are gone.

Just consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to see one of the best pitchers of all time. What a privilege.

Last regular season start at Dodger Stadium. In an interview, Kershaw begged off whether he would start post-season. He talked about all the others that Roberts had available. I would argue that but we will see.

Matthews can be a good starting pitcher. He supposedly has good control. four of his first seven pitches were middle, middle. This is not where an MLB pitcher wants to earn money. Some guys can go an entire game without putting the ball middle, middle. He was more in line with all of his pitches to Burger. Matthews is going to be fine but he must get out of the whomping zone to make money.
