Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Well, we're at the halfway point of the season. Is this a playoff team? It's almost certainly not a division winner. Patzky 1

tony&rodney Verified Member Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 To be fair the Twins were a potential division winner in the same fashion that every single team is optimistic in Spring Training. Go Whie Sox. Realism suggested a potential to find a path to a playoff spot. Despite the current tumble, there is still an outside shot the Twins benefit from improved play, luck, and misfortune falling upon various other AL teams which results in a playoff spot for the Twins. Falvey is thinking that anyway. For today, SWR for the win. Blyleven2011 1

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 A lot of day baseball today. I hope the first two games were rock bottom, but I'm not holding my breath.

Sure hope Lewis is allowed a full ramp up and healing this time around. Let Royce get comfortable catching and throwing the ball, swinging the bat as if he intends to hit, and running the bases at full speed. Last time around he was an automatic out for the Saints, couldn't field his position when he was out there, and jogged so slowly there were immediate questions from the opponent's announcers. If Royce is fully healed and gets a couple of weeks in, he could be ready to play in two weeks or so.

It's a good thing there's no rain tomorrow; I'll be at the Saints game. It seems that baseball games in June have been hit or miss this year, and mostly a miss. Patzky and IndyTwinsFan 2
