If you think about it, Correa went to the front office and complained about lack of fundamentals and attention to detail. He then proceeded to go out and commit an error that lost the game.

Nonetheless, when players start going over the manager's head, it's dead man walking time.

Guaranteed that Correa didn't have that conversation without the blessing of the rest of the team.

Firing Rocco won't fix everything but it will likely fix something...which is better than nothing.

He stated that he talked to the coaching staff and management. His error did not lose the game, Ober's fragile psyche and lack of execution did.

I have 4 free tickets to tomorrow nights game that I got from work. Nobody that agreed to go wants to go to the game and it's dollar hot dogs on Tuesday and supposed to be good weather.  Jeebus anther game of pitching batting practice. This is getting so out of hand.

In principle I agree with you.  With Correa discussing this with the FO without the manager, I don't see where Correa is going to respect any of the potential coaches that would be the interim replacement for a fired Rocco.

It's ironic that he had that discussion and proceeded to jumpstart Ober's night with an error.

I'm getting close to giving up the "enjoyment" of watching or listening to sporting events after the brutal injury to Tyrese Halliburton in game seven of the NBA Finals last night.  There is still no joy in Mudville; just mud puddles from all the rain in Central Iowa.  I'll settle for two runs tonight if we can hold Seattle to single digits.

This is why I don't bet on baseball.  Bye Bye Mr. Wentz!

Maybe Correa also added that if there isn't change he gave them his blessings on a trade , something to think about with trade deadline nearing ...

They need to remove Rocco Baldelli just to shake things up and create a different leader in the clubhouse. You cannot fire all of the players or the entire team. Honestly  I don't see how the Saints manager Toby Gardenhire could do anything worse with this team. This is a complete roster collapse. Wallner has talent and his swing is in the crapper.

Physical error not mental. Big difference. Those things happen.

He talked to the coaching staff (I am assuming Rocco was part of the conversation) AND management. He stated as much in an interview the broadcast aired.
