Lee got his hit.  Yippee!

At least he swings , wallner does not , 2 strikeouts looking  , it time to throw fines out for not swinging at third strikes  , if a player would just think of the ball being on a tee , maybe they would hit more hits ...

Tonight’s game against the Brewers was really F joke.   Twins are a ridiculous F joke tonight.    That’s unacceptable!   They are awful.   Very Embarrassed!

June 10 – Lost to Rangers 16-4.

June 12 – Lost to Rangers 16-3

Tonight’s game – lost to Brewers 17-7

Minnesota Twins allowed more than 16 runs 3 times in 10 days.  That is going to break the record for that.

Twins manager and pitching coach need to be fired.

I don't say much on this forum and have always felt that as a fan there needs to be support for our boys. The Twins have become unwatchable and the fish always stinks from the head. Sure, we might have a pitching pipe better than we've ever had but the kids aren't allowed to learn on the job. Someone on here wrote that we have a bunch of DH types who can't run, can't bunt, can't field and K too much cuz they're still swinging for the fences when they have two strikes. Fielders can't throw to the cutoff man 8 times outta 10. Utility guys are only competent when they're playing their somewhat natural position. For example, everyone on here knows Willie shouldn't be in the outfield. Rocco is too easy on everyone. Francona, Billy Martin, and a whole bunch of guys who "manage" the players would've benched players for not running, throwing to the wrong base, etc.. There is no accountability for screwing up the fundamentals that we all learned in Little League. Time for Rocco to go and in spite of the potential of our pitching pipe, Falvey and his group seem to be unable to develop hitters with the basics such as hitting oppo, going first to third, choking up with 2 strikes, the occasional bunt.. I could go on but we all see it. We're back to "Total System Failure" and its painful to watch. Nuff said..

Wallner must like not getting too far from the Mendoza Line.

I can't say any more than what's already been said. This team gives a fan no hope now or in the near future. I know there are fans that think the pipe line is stocked. Sorry folks, it is not. The guys that have been called upon to keep the ship afloat, have completely failed.

Incredible. Lived in TX for 9 years and MN humidity is just as bad as it is there.

Stay inside, turn the ac to 60 F, and sit in your barcalounger with your feet up and your MAGA hat on.

This is a total system failure  and it's worse than Terry Ryan's system failure , Terry Ryan least had more exciting games to watch  ....

Thanks for your comments on a team that is a total system failure ...

Have I said this team is a total system failure  , 1 owner , 2 GM'S , 4 different managers ,

Who's accountable  , maybe the owners who don't like baseball and they hired the wrong professionals at least this last go around , their father hired the first one ...

If there was a pitching pipeline, there wouldn't be a need for a Joey Wentz. It's not just starters but bullpen arms. If there is a pipe, it's a pipe dream

Lee gets a hit.

It is my new Margot streak... Now that i don't have a Margot to root for. (I think his streak is intact, or at least last i checked.

Did not get a pinch hit his one opportunity with the Tigers before the IL.

Irish, we also have to add the 14-3 loss on June 5 to the A's...thus, in the last 14 games the Twins have managed to lose by scores of 14-2, 16-4, 16-3, and now 17-6. I know what's at work here and I'm frankly quite sick of it. When games get out of hand all that matters to Rocco (and I'm sure many here on TD) is that effort is not wasted, pitchers are not strained, and players do not risk injury in a hopeless cause. So reasonable and rational, eh? Well I hate it. Have some pride...have enough respect for the game, and yourselves,  to fight hard to quell the rout. Draw a line and say no more. Risk an injury, strain a few pitchers, but build a rock-hard resolve that will serve you far better during difficult times than the rationality of the rag doll that you are practicing.

Weird projection. Sorry you’re triggered that it is hot in Minneapolis this weekend. Have a good night.

Unfortunately, it's been more years than I can remember since we've had anything resembling a hitting pipeline.

Whether the current crop of minor leaguers pans out remains to be seen.  That's just as big as problem.

It has been awhile since they had some good hitting teams ...

I would work for free as a consultant and help them mend there ways ...

Just 1 example , the twins have been a lousy hitting team since they have not had a full time DH , TRUE OR FALSE ...

And there's plenty more examples ...

I’d like to think that jobs would be on the line after this stretch of putrid baseball, but I’m guessing that it’s business as usual.

Maybe Keirsey and his .305 OPS can go bag groceries somewhere

The Twins have to be close to a season record for giving up 10 or more runs in season.

Morning , I looked up 2023 , 7 losses by double digits ...

2024 had 11 losses ...

This year 5 so far  ...

That kind of gives you an idea  , if they are playing bad they are going to have alot of double digit losses like 2024 ...

2023 we played better and had less double digit losses     ...

I found out 2021 had 11 and 2023 had 13 double digit losses , both years we had really bad pitchers  ...

I couldn't find anything to go back further  ...
