You're really going to blame Festa when every close pitch he threw was called a ball? I think the maybe the plate umpire needs to go back to AAA. Be interesting to see if he squeezes the A's pitcher today...

Jeffers blocked the ump , on a perfect pitch- trying to get a jump on the stolen base,

I kind of like the challenge idea.  Then you can pick and choose when to use it.

The success of the challenge system will totally depend on the individual personalities of the umpires. In the minor leagues when there a number of very close calls overturned by challenges and the team eventually loses their two challenges I have seen several times when the umpire goes south and there are multiple poor calls against the team out of challenges.

I would suggest to just use the system or stay with things as they currently exist. If the goal is to get the balls and strikes called correctly, just use ABS on every pitch.

Wonder who called the bunt , Clemens or Rocco  , be interesting to know , a very good bunt and good hustle for Clemens  ...

The bunt hit was the twins first hit of the game ...

I don't think player agents allow managers to call bunts anymore(sarcasm).  It affects the amount of HRs they can hit.  So I'd bet Clemons called that bunt himself, I'm sure Castro did as well.  They players probably all talked about it, because they see the 3B playing back too far?

Are you blind????  There's a little box on TV which represents the strike zone....when the ball touches the line, it's a strike.  It was strike 3.

Are you blind????  No im not and  CAN YOU READ , It was called ball 4  because of what jeffers did

The pitch appears borderline on the 'box' I've certainly seen much worse.

To me, if the challenge system is put in play, you get to keep your challenge as long as your right.  If the ump gets 12 pitches wrong, and you successfully challenge each one, good for you.

In spring training many players had to change their heights so as that the ABS system would register the correct strike zone for them.

He may need a bit of hooch in his coffee today...5th starter....swp or Festa.  Doubtful twins will trade for anything
