We could talk about how the Braves were up 10-4 in the 9th and the D-backs put up 7 runs to beat them 11-10 haha.

Not getting the same vibe.. why is that..

Watch Alcalas pitch count. Was at 26 - if it goes much higher they could be using him up before dfa.

Single, walk, homer, double before he could record a single out. Tell me more about Alcala's "stuff."

I've said before, Alcala is terrible and shouldn't be on a major league roster, about a week ago. I got thumbs down by at least one person. Can you believe that?

Ehh if you're down on Festa's outing you can't be upbeat about Alcala's.

Alcala is Ron Davis with a worse curveball. Has stuff, cannot finish off batters or get people out. Alcala is a nibbler. He pitches like he has good stuff then nibbles. Someone will probably claim if Twins DFA.

Everyone always raves about wallners arm , it may be strong but it's not that accurate  ...

And why has the FO not addressed this lefthanded bullpen arm situation  , funderburk just looks like a head case out there ...

There is a reason he looks like that……

If they want inning eaters from pitchers who shouldn't be in the majors, aka, Funderburk, Alcala, and Festa, hell I can break out the old 55 mph curve ball from 45 years ago. I seriously can't do any worse.

Too bad the stands are not full, they do not see too many games like this.

As I said earlier, the West Sacramento Athletics have stomped on some very good teams.

There's no question about there bats , I would mind some of them on the twins roster ...

Oh that's right Rooker was on the twins roster once upon a time  ...

Poor old baked McBride may be spending his last time in a Twins uniform cleaning up in a 12-1 loss

Yep. Their young SS looks like the real deal. He hits like Mark Fryderich used to pitch. I also like the right fielder.

That was Alcala's relief line.

For those who are saying the Twins should never lose to the A's, the White Sox split a series with the mighty Tigers. Every team is going to lose 50 games, even if they are clearly superior to their opponents. KC is playing a team with similar talent and they will be playing the rubber game later today. Cleveland has won one of two vs. the Evil Empire and will be playing the third game this evening.

I think the divisional race will come down to divisional play. So far, the Twins haven't fared well against anyone except the Pale Hose, but they have plenty of games to change the current deficit with the Tigers and to stay ahead of Cleveland and KC.

They had lost 20 of 21 games coming into today...
