Festa won't probably be able to duplicate 7 innings though , 33 pitches in first inning  ...

You may be correct but it is worth remembering that many people did not think Matthews was ready and that Lopez was merely a mid or back end rotation arm.

You're really going to blame Festa when every close pitch he threw was called a ball? I think the maybe the plate umpire needs to go back to AAA. Be interesting to see if he squeezes the A's pitcher today...

Festa got squeezed, that was strike 3 on Wilson.  He would have been out of the inning with one run only.  He can't let it affect him, but it's a tight strike zone.

Wow, Lee just does not look good at the plate. I thought it was just a problem right handed but he isn't hitting much with any authority left handed either. This is starting to look like last year where he started ok and just faded out to being unplayable.
