Austin Martin is a polarizing player for the Twins. So you may be happy or sad to know that he is back from the IL at AAA. He was hitting .419 and playing in the OF when he went out.

Harrison Bader was scratched from the Twins' lineup with an illness.

Rocco Baldelli said it's possible Bader could be available off the bench if he feels better during the game.

Martin’s injury was really bad timing for him. He was probably just days away from being called up due to the Twins injuries. Hope he does well and gets another chance with the Twins.

To boost attendance at home and on the road, the Orioles should have Povich reveal DNA paternity results of an opposing player in a ceremony prior to each of Cade’s starts.  Even though he is not closely related to Maury.

This is almost certainly just me, but I LOVE when the Twins play the Orioles. It just feels good. I have to say, it feels slightly wrong having this series in May. I like it when there's a hint of October in the air (although that pageantry was spoiled when they visited last year). Something that goes all the way back to the Weaver O's running into the Twins in '69 and '70? The way they've almost perfectly matched up their winning windows so as never to be good at the same time, but always in a position to play spoiler? I dunno. It might just be the uniform colors. But I love it.

IIRC, Willi had a better OPS against left handers for the first half of '24, but went in the tank the second half of the season. His R-L splits when he was with Detroit were pretty neutral.
