Again, I Don’t understand why Coulombe wasn’t in. Moves Ramirez to the right side and lefty Manzardo. Oh, he also has not given up an earned run this season.

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows but Jesus
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, Hallelujah

Sometimes I'm up
Sometimes I'm down
Oh, yes, Lord
Sometimes I'm almost to the ground
Oh, yes, Lord

Oh, nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen

If we have to get to 11 is Bader on second?

Yes, he would have.

Which contributes to the reason to steal him in that situation. Be successful and you're much more likely to score on hit. Get thrown out and it least gives you a small head start in the 11th to have Bader there rather than Vazquez. (Though letting Vazquez hit would have (almost) guaranteed Buxton getting a bat in the 11th. This way he would have batted fourth.)

But alas...

(And that said, radio guys said the first throwover was clearly a balk, scoring Gasper and moving Bader to second. True? If so, that changes the inning. Same thing happens and Bader goes to third on the Bride fly ball. Still Vazquez hitting, but with a runner on third rather than first. But alas...)

It's not illegal to get out of the inning without giving up a run, much less two. Topa failed.

Topa could have done better, sure. But we should’ve never even gone to extra innings

10th walk off loss in Cleveland in the last five years

That seems low

If someone has the will, I would be curious of Rocco’s record in 1-2 run games and extra innings. It has to be one of the worst in MLB the past 2-3 seasons.

That last inning perfectly encapsulates the difference between these two squads.

Lee fouls out. Bader singles and Gasper misreads the ball. Idk if he's sent home even if he gets a good jump but regardless, it's a baserunning gaffe. Bride sac fly. Bader caught stealing. Tough to moan about that with Vazquez at the plate.

Arias is down 0-2 and instead of hacking away, he gets a pitch on the outer half of the plate and pushes it to 2B. A productive 1st out. Ramirez of course singles because I guess we're pitching to him? He swipes 2B. Manzardo is intentionally walked. Now it's runners on 1st and 2nd, tie game, 1 out, Cleveland in full control. Ramirez swipes 3B, doesn't matter, Martinez slaps a single. Ballgame.

Cleveland had 6 hits and 4 rbi, it is on the pitchers.

Barometer series, first game you thought maybe they figured out how to not get embarassed by Cleveland, nope same lame duck manager and organization.

Don't let anybody try to tell you this run of losses is just "bad luck." Bad teams find ways to lose these games. That's exactly what happened this afternoon.

Bingo!

They are bad all around. My point is simply that if we had scored some runs with all of our hits and runners in scoring position, this wouldn’t have even happened.

That is the epitaph four, five times a week.

4 runs should not need only 6 hits, at that rate the offense is simply screwed.
