The little league world series is better baseball than the Twins...

What’s Danny Almonte doing these days? He could still be in the bigs if he ever made it. Sounds like a guy the twins would take a flier on in the offseason

This is like a bad car accident. I decided to watch something else but then I just can't not look.

I'm very near the point of not looking anymore at this mess of a performance.

The Astros were able to get 6 good seasons out of Pressly AND move on before we get 1 good year out of Alcala. That reminds me, where is Celestino these days?

Yea another Falvey gem.

The Mets AAA actually.

We need to have a retrospective on how badly we whiffed on that trade. There was a lot of defending of the trade right after Pressly immediately morphed into a high end closer and all we ended up with was an inconsistent reliever and an AAAA outfielder.

He would have fit better in the astro's roster , he cheated in the little league and lied about his age ...

I legitimately lost track of Celestino so that is funny he’s there out of all places

That’s not even Falvey’s greatest hits of bad trades. 9 total innings of Tyler Mahle has to be #1.

Wait?!? What is the sorcery? A relief corps is capable of having a high leverage pitcher go multiple innings?

Mets have 3 they've been using regularly for multiple innings. Butto and Kranick as well.

Yeah, that trade chaps my backside too.

Jorge Lopez immediately turning into a pumpkin alongside Yennier Cano being cured of "Twinsitis" gives that trade a run for its money. Oh, and the Orioles have Cade Povich in their starting rotation now as part of that trade. Yikes.

Just saw this and was going to post....😂😂😂

The ESPN write-up is this:

"The Twins ranked low last year, and I'll repeat what I said then: The team itself is probably better than this ranking, but there isn't a lot of glitz and glamour here. No big star (Carlos Correa's shine has dulled and Byron Buxton really never got there in the first place), no big masher, no speedster on the bases or must-see ace on the mound. The youth score will go up if Emmanuel Rodriguez and Luke Keaschall get called up -- which might be the case given the early struggles of the offense."

Aaron Hicks for JR Murphy has to be top 5 all time.

October 2023, it looked like the Twins were poised to have a multi-year run on top of the division and have post season success. The Pohlads let cheapness get in the way and the baseball gods have kicked this team's ass ever since. And no end in sight.
