Off topic:  Luis Arraez has gone 120 straight PA without striking out.  Longest streak in 20 years.  Also hitting .318 and closing in on his 3rd straight batting title .  If he wins it will have been won for his 3rd different team.

And he's been playing with a torn thumb ligament since June. I'm not trying to equate injuries nor diss our boys, but...  Are Buck and C4 at 70% better than some of their replacements? Maybe Rocco and the FO are working toward the last 10-12 games or so and hoping for 90% health. It sucks but patience is a virtue even when Rome is burning. At least we know Wallner seems to handle leftys.

Am I seeing this right? This Angels starter has 12 K's in 38 innings? That's incredibly awful. If this lineup chases a bunch of garbage tonight they're never going to figure it out.

Wow, looked at his statcast and it's as bad as it looks. Cannot lose this game with someone this bad on the mound.

I hope he can get through their lineup twice and we have the A squad bullpen rested and ready to go.

Only positive to Festa and Matthews pitching like crap is the front office can't come out of this offseason without a starting pitcher or two, I guarantee you we would have gone into next year wasting the first month or two with them in the rotation to find out what we are right now.
