Pham out with a "dental issue".....

Maybe someone finally touched him up. Sorry the guy just seems like such a jerk I'm very glad the Twins never signed him.

Greetings from the corner of 35th and Shields. Thanks to the general stinkitude of the Team That Should Not Be Named, good seats are still available. Tonight’s mission, should IT choose to accept it, is to see if one can move from Section 116, Row 10, Seat 2 to a spot behind the Twins dugout for a significant portion of the game.

And by the way, it’s a good idea to be the only guy in a Twins shirt amongst a bunch from the TTSNBN during batting practice. Thanks to the generosity of some non-uniformed Twins staffer, I’ve got a ball to pass along to some nearby kid sporting a Twins cap or shirt.

May need that to bribe your way into that section behind the Twins dugout.

Those Italian Hot Italian Beef sandwiches are bomb!  Had one there when I visited in May, it looks as though I was 2-3 sections to your left up in the 2nd row of that game!

Buxton’s hitting about one gazillion against Flexen.

Still, given the push-back from commenters (including me) in TD’s Larnach puff piece today…Larnach should be a cinch for PoG.

3-4 with a HR, 2B, and a BB.

Ole and Lena came over from the old country, and settled in on a farm way up in NW Minnesota, not far from the Red River.

They managed to scratch out a living, but Ole was a talented painter, and he began making a little extra money in the winters by painting portraits.

His skill as a skilled portrait artist eventually became known all the way down in the cities.

One cold January afternoon, a long limo pulled into the yard, and a beautiful young woman stepped out and knocked on the front door.

Ole let the woman in, and after introductions, she asked "Ole I'm a huge admirer of your work. I'll pay you fifty thousand dollars to paint me...in the nude."

Ole turned beat red, and after thinking for a minute, said "Vell, dats a lot of money, but I don't know. Give me a second and I'll ask Lena vat she tinks."

Ole heads back into the kitchen, and after at least 10 minutes, he comes back, looking a little sheepish.

"Lena says ok to do Dat. For da fifty t'ousand. But I'm gonna hafta leave my socks on. I need some vere to wipe da brush."

Also, Correa is a bit of a throw-back. IMO. Willing and able to play with minor injuries. Said to the media after yesterday’s game: “I’m playing tomorrow”. It’s rarely that simple. But, playing he is.

Love it.

We had a guy on our football team that insisted he played his best when injured. So we beat the crap out of him right before kick-off. Didn't work,
