He's played 28 games at catcher. That's hardly a burden.

Jeffers isn't exactly tearing it up lately. His AVG has fallen by like 50 points in recent weeks. To me, his recent hitting suggests he could use a day off.

With his propensity to give up the long ball combined with a tough Yankee lineup and that short right field porch.....Ober really needs to be on his game.  Gil was overly fantastic in his last 6 starts, he's due to start giving up some runs!

Man I can’t remember the last time I watched TBS. Bad memories of being forced to watch EVERY Atlanta Braves game back in the day……

WGN + TBS were some of the most effective baseball marketing and building lifelong national fan bases.

We had different thoughts on that then!  I absolutely loved that I could find a live baseball game to watch all the time, even if it was the Braves.

I’ll grant you that, plus it was a chance to see some National Leagues teams during the regular season.

Surrounded by Yankee fans. Dread this series every year..

Same here. The game is blacked out for me on MLB.TV and TBS. I'm doing a self-imposed blackout on NY sports talk radio for the next three days.

No. I believe the Yankees have a lefty tomorrow and Rocco won't play Lewis 2 days in a row to start. So I expect Vazquez to catch tomorrow too with Jeffers DH'ing, Margot and Farmer in the line-up etc.

If Lewis can't play two days in a row the team should have kept him with St. Paul.

One inning and already tired of Plouffe.

Believe me, it could be A LOT worse. So far on the Yankees broadcast, Gil is the cy young front runner and MVP is up for grabs between Soto and Judge. Barf a rama

All of that is true, though.
