D.C Twins Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Buck gonna go yard tonight.... or just going to swing like he trying to go yard all night... my crystal ball is a bit murky... I'll get back to you after I wipe it off wabene and USAFChief 1 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Top four of the Twins' lineup are left handed hitters, followed by Buxton and then two switch hitters. Do the White Sox have any lefties available in their bullpen?
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 The White Sox may have lefties in their bullpen but I'm sure they will be scared to death to use them for fear some of our left-handed hitters will be replaced by the mighty Manuel Margot, Jose Miranda, or the right hand hitting versions of Castro and Santana. I guess we can put Jeffers in for Kirilloff, but that's basically it on the right hand side. My apology, but I have a dumb rules question. If we wanted to bring Jeffers into the game, could we put him at the DH spot and move Kirilloff to 1B, thereby benching Santana? Or is Kirilloff effectively out of the game as long as he is not the DH once he starts in that role? I guess we can put Jeffers behind the plate and move Vasquez to IB or put Jeffers at 1B if the goal is to get Jeffers in and Santana out. Just curious if we can do it the easier way. Mike Sixel 1
RpR Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 I do not know about the DH, but players on the field can switch positions any time during dead ball time, and switch back next hitter. If one leaves he field, he is done for the day.

No. Jeffers coming in at DH would remove Kirilloff. Jeffers could come in to play but the pitcher would need to be inserted in someone else's place. mrtwinsfan 1

Tim Hill who threw 12 pitches last night and Tanner Banks who threw back to back 2on Saturday and Sunday. 26 and 27 pitches.

We would lose the DH spot if Kirilloff moves to defensive position. It'll take dynamite to get Santana out of the game. Rocco will be focused on those vulnerable left handed hitters when the pinch hitting happens. wabene 1

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Ump flat out missed the last call. He had defined his strike zone as the box and was consistent ......until the last pitch of the top of the first.
