And a .532 thru the 1st and ,663 thru the 2nd.  He's also given up just as many HR to a hitter in their 3rd PA of the game as the rest of the game combined.  Which is 468 PA to 150 PA.

You are extremely reaching here.

LOL that is ironic.

No, he's pointing out an example of how just because something works doesn't make it the right decision. That's a logical fallacy, and he's giving an example of how/why ....

Im gonna be honest

That analogy was so insane it actually made me laugh out loud so I awarded him 1/2 a point in his argument.

How so? It is literally an example of making a poor choice, but ending up not reaping the negative outcome from the poor choice.

How is that difficult to understand?

Dick is so senile

Yes, Naylor swung. But you have to throw him out at 1B anyways and we wouldnt have.

I'm not sure what the rule is since the play was effectively stopped by the umpire.  Naylor never made it to first base any way.

I heard on the TV broadcast about a month ago that the coaches were trying to get Duran to throw more breaking balls, arguing it is actually his best pitch.

Disagree in concept:  It CAN be his best pitch, when it is set up by his devastating FB.  They have the cart and horse mixed up on their pitch sequencing.  Get the batter geared up to hit the heat, THEN drop in the curve out of the zone to see if they will chase.

I decide to drink at the bar and drive home while intoxicated and make it home safely.

That doesn't mean my decision to drink and drive was the right one just because I didn't crash my vehicle or injure someone.

Are you drinking at a bar right now?

on one hand, losing and moving up the waiver wire order would be great, but losing the series to Cleveland could give them the confidence to claim some of those guys which we do not want.

Yeah thats cause they ruled it dead and everyone stopped playing. He was running to first.

DIck keeps complaining while we bat that we coulda appealed to third and its game over. Forgetting that dropped 3rd strike is a thing.

Not sharp on the relief pitching or defense the last 2 innings.   Lopez and Moore just gave up runs to the Phillies this afternoon so they must be auditioning for the Twins bullpen.

At this point you’ve got to take a chance on any reasonable reliever. The playoffs are happening and we can’t go into them with this disaster of a bullpen

All the numbers have shown that the fastball is the pitch the opponent consistently crushes, but nothing worked today, that’s for sure.

He's literally thrown 6 innings total between the 7th-9th innings. If you or Rocco have seen that Gray is guaranteed to blow up late in games based on 6 innings, I want to hire you to predict my future.

Coming into today Gray had pitched 128 innings in innings 1-5 and gave up 34 runs for an ERA of 2.39.  In innings 6&7 he had pitched 22 innings, giving up 17 runs for an ERA 6.95.

SSS, love when someone's argument involves that.
