Edit:  If we have a good series against TX, it is possible that they could drop to 3rd place in the West (Hou 1 game back plays Det and Sea 1.5 GB plays KC)

And so begin two weeks of reckoning for the 2023 Twins. They could effectively clinch the Central. They could spiral downward in freefall. Most likely, they'll muddle through and be 3-4 games in front when the Mets arrive on September 8.

I have the Vikings when I need Ingmar Bergman and existentialism. I don't need a double dose.

Yikes! They have six players with more RBI’s than our top producer at 55. But, yet, in a weird sort of way, I feel it’s going to be a really good offensive night.

Often signing big ticket free agents is a recipe for disaster.  But Corey Seager.... wowser, looks like the Rangers hit the jackpot with that signing.  I knew he was having a good year, but that's even more than they could have hoped for.

On paper this looks like a series where the Rangers dominate a stumbling Twins squad with a worn down pen. And the Twins reel me back in by taking the series somehow.

They are 3-7 in the last 10 including the last 6 in a row.  Something gonna break.

If the plan is to replace him with Walner, if we get into their BP, he should be batting lower.  IMHO the order should be:

2. Polanco
