Brewers beat guy , talking about Mcgill last night --rumor that he was told  Throw that curve ball and it will be his last pitch as a Brewer,  Now thinking back it was his curve that always got him in trouble with the twins

Debatable.  Their offensive numbers are nearly identical at this point, and Taylor has been hot recently.

Sort of proves the point, don't you think?  MAT being hot for basically all of August, and he still has worse numbers on the year than Buxton.  What happens when MAT stops being hot, or do you want to argue that MAT is having an offensive breakout halfway through his age 32 season?

Before the AS break, I wouldn't have even had the opportunity to blame this game on the crappy bullpen. It would be 6-1 or 6-0. Now, since this team is actually turning around, this loss (if it turns out that way) is totally the fault of Pagan et al. What a luxury!

I'm going with the hot bat for now.  Buck was ice cold before he went on the IL.  If MAT gets cold, sure, insert Buck, but now is not the time.

I agree. Floro was out in Miami and Lopez was no longer part of the Twins plans. But Falvey must have saw something he liked. No one else did

But Falvey must have saw something he liked. No one else did,   And there is the issue ???

I think the entirety of that deal was getting Lopez off the team, not Floro ON the team.

Getting Miami to take him, and get him closer to his family, was a nice bonus.

Other teams actually have pitching pipelines, to start.

Ours appears to be clogged

Isn't that baseball though?  Twins saw something in moving Brock Stewert to the pen as well and it seemed to work out brilliantly until he hit the IL.

I agree. I was just being nice. They didn't want to deal with Lopez and his issues

Who says coaching doesn't matter?

I have no idea, but he was great in the 25 games he got into this year.
