Taylor took juuuuuuuuust enough reps in the gym last week.

And had just enough Wheaties for breakfast.

Yep, but no a/c there. I don't know what would be better...open or closed.

Been there open and closed.  Its the humidity not heat.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that we haven't seen the last run of this game scored.

I'll go you one further and posit 5 runs won't win.

Solano JUST misses the foul ball in the dugout which lead to 2 runs.  Yelich JUST misses the HR from Taylor that was 2 runs.  We are even now right?

Don't be ridiculous.

Their close calls weren't close.

A waste of roster space?  2nd rough start in a row, but he had 5 very solid ones before that.  Very much a "what have you done for me lately" take.

Maeda is not a waste.  Buxton is.

He's been a nice little find

Who'll be immediately benched when Buxton returns to CF and he's hitting like he's Jimmy Foxx with his well rested knees and the fact he can only hit when he's involved defensively.  (Sarcasm) Maybe?

Most of the hard hit balls off Kenta are foul.  He's good.

He didn't make it easy on himself, but he did a nice job of working through it.

That DP ball after the HR and walk really  changed the outing, IYAM

I've got this good friend who comes over a lot to watch sports. He, like me, likes to make a friendly wager on special occasions (like, uh, "Wednesday.")

Anywhoo, this past weekend he was over and we somehow ended up watching soccer.

"Let's make this more interesting," he said, with a little knowing wink.

"You got it," I said.

So we turned off the TV.
