Okay, Wallner gets a start vs. a quality lefty. I would have preferred to see if Jeffers could carry his hot streak another day, but it's good to give Wallner a chance.

Catchers do need days off now and then.

Seems weird to try it against an actual good lefty..... Hope it works.

Let's see if the bats can carry yesterday's success into today.

Let's see if Sonny Gray can match Lopez.

My guess is that's the better opportunity.

Doubt we're knocking around another lefty.

Happy to be wrong though.

Probably right.

I don't care how they win.  Just win, baby!

Hot hitter in the clean up spot. Maybe more for the pinch hit opportunity later.

From waiver wire pick up to batting clean up in less than a week. Quite a ride.

On a first place club that’s won five in a row.

The Twins continue to have the lowest batting average against left handed pitching, but they have a better OPS relative to the rest of the league. They have a higher OPS than five teams vs. lefties.

No Kepler. Hope is foot is okay and that when he comes back to the lineup he can pick up where he left off and doesn't go into one of his post injury slumps.

Didn't waste much time getting Luplow in the four spot.

After he hits a couple of grand slams and they bring in the right hander we can smoothly substitute Julien for him.

Man, you get a couple hits off of position players and suddenly they're pitching around you.

HRs will have that affect. Ask Joey Gallo.

I'm concerned about Dick Bremer. It seems to me that he has made many small mis-speaks this season. For example, just now on the double he referred to the play at the plate.

Twins may have to re-think their approach.  They might want to take a few pitches to make rodriguez work a little more.

What is Polanco contributing to this team? Hitting? Fielding? Stealing bases? He looks washed.

He was one of their few decent bats prior to the latest IL stint. Idk if I'd call him washed just yet...
