He got a ground ball out, then the 2 run HR to tie, then finished the inning. Not excusing the HR, but it was the only run he was responsible for.

Moran pitched to 3 hitters, walked 2 and gave up a double.

That inning is on Moran.

Bullpen meltdowns happen. That's baseball. The K's are a chronic and worrying problem.

I think it solidifies the general idea they could use another competent bullpen arm.

You're right about Moran's pitching line - I forgot he gave up the RBI double, thinking he walked the bases loaded.

I would have respected Pagan's outing for inducing outs and giving up just the one additional run.

Is the point of the disagreement that it has to be "on" just one person?

The inning of crushed dreams was to me a joint effort.

It's amazing the bullpen has been as good as it has. For the last month they have basically had only Jax and Duran as their only two reliable arms.

Top of the Seattle order, he's only getting 1 Lefthanded hitter tops. 

But then I have an irrational distaste for Moran. Always iffy control, much less command.

The bullpen is absolutely taxed lately partly because they’re playing with a 25 man roster while every other team has 26. What is the point and goal of Cole Sands hanging out in the bullpen doing nothing? He’s shown nothing over the years. Just DFA him and move on. Boyer and Funderbunk are dominating AAA where most pitchers struggle. League ops is over .800 and ERA is over 5. 
 

I’m as annoyed with Moron and Pagan as anyone but the Twins are putting themselves in this situation by rostering Sands for absolutely no reason.

It certainly doesn't help. I said here maybe a week ago I figured Sands must be in the witness protection program.
