I could tell Stroman is not tall, but per the Cubs web site he's only 5'7", 180 lb. It's really rare for a MLB pitcher to be that short. It's a big disadvantage because tall bodies have better leverage, making it easier to impart more momentum to the ball.

Edited to add: tall people also stride closer to home plate, another advantage.

Saw him when he was a Met from about 10 yds away. Tiny doesnt adequately describe.  Asked him how he throws so fast.  He just smiled and laughed a little.

I was in the same room once with Prince, a few feet away. He was REALLY TINY!

It's been discussed, a similar extension like they offered to Paddock, but I hope they just move on from him.

Lots of time to make that decision.  Good problem to have.

It's going to be a tough one today. Stroman has been really good this season and the weather is abominable.

I love it when the Twins go against a poster 😜

I think you jinxed him

Tough series against the Dodgers coming. Hopefully this weekend will give them some momentum going into this week.

Went to series at the ravine last year.  They got annihilated.  Looking for some payback.

Wow. You cannot throw a low fastball to that man.

Only if you know you can get it past him. And then don't do it.
