Pagan threw 23 pitches. I don't think he'll be back out.

Lopez was warming up in case they got another hit or two and it got close. Now that they are up six, and given that Moran and Sands threw yesterday, I'm guessing it's Alcala.

Hopefully Alcala gets both innings, but I could also see a Jax confidence inning.

Lopez still got the call despite the lead

Not good...Gallo grabbed his hammy on that play. Hope he's ok.

I'm guessing because he had warmed up. Rocco doesn't tend to warm guys up and not use them.

Edit to add: I don't mind a quick nine pitches. Would have been a bummer if he needed 20 or so.

You're probably right. Only took like 9 pitches so we'll see what they do for the 9th

Wow -- I love players with line drive launch angles. So many balls in gaps that fall for hits where Gallo can hit it 103 exit velo but he gets under it and it's in the air a mile high and caught. It's easy to see how he was such an XBH machine in the minors.

Those Dodgers pitching matchups are pretty exciting.

I actually like our chances in all 3 games to be honest.

I like our chances against Syndergaard. Kershaw and May will be tough. If we can get to either of those two, it would be fantastic.

I want to see a good effort against Kershaw. Of all the things last year, that game was memorable.

Has anyone else noticed the run differential in the AL Central this season? This is nuts
