USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 I like aggressive baserunning, but that was...questionable.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Rocco ---- jeffers 5th ? i forgot Polanco is a Switch Hitter
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 "They're all very pleased with his base running, now that he's safe." LOL. That's as close as you'll ever hear this broadcast crew come to criticizing a Twins player.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 2 out RBI. One of the keys to baseball.

CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Can we keep Ober and ship out Maeda or Mahle?

Miranda didn't exactly run hard from the start and actually hesitates around second base. This is an example of the type of mistakes that can be eliminated. Yes, it is a really long season, but there is a noticeable difference between teams who push it and those who don't. I believe the Twins are trying to get better at base running but it is clearly not ingrained in practice.
CRF Verified Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 I'm thinking we probably need a few more runs...just to be safe.

rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Let's see which version of the bullpen shows up, the one that holds leads or the one that blows them.
OptimisticTwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Ober is a weak contact king. I also love the way he pitches inside of the strike zone with movement. I know that doesn't make 100% sense with some of the walks but he throws a lot of pitches that move from the middle to the zone to the corner instead of out of the strike zone and then tunnels pitches which I like. For those that don't like him, he's not an ace but I think he could be a great #4ish.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 You gotta be kidding Rocco, Ober has looked very good last 3 innings,
