These faster games are screwing up my family time.  I now have to spend more time actually engaging with them.

No, Julien is on the 40-man roster already. That is what makes the transaction easy to do.

Except that he is/was in Indianapolis with the Saints. I assume he’s en route back to Mpls as we type

It's game 11 and I think I'm sick and tired of almost every commercial they show during games. If I'm not I will be soon. I still like fixing this toilet on video but I don't think that one will have a very long shelf life.

Could be showing Kars4Kids

For this series, however, I’m amidst my dozen-times-a-year love fest with Jason Benetti and Steve Stone on Sox TV.

They Sox broadcast team is SOOOOO good now that Hawk is gone

So, noticed this pic on IG. How cool that Johan is in the clubhouse showing his change to the young pitchers

There seems to have been quite the organizational shift in how long you should let a starter pitch. I wonder how much of that was influenced by the revolt led by Sonny Gray?

The organization now has pitchers who are doing their job. That’s the shift. And Gray’s message was clearly saying the pitchers had to do their jobs and not being disgruntled with management as has been portrayed by posters wanting it to be that way

It sure helps when the starters are pitching well, like they're supposed to.

There hasn’t been a shift, the pitchers are just pitching better and using less pitches. Lopez is not in the same stratosphere of Bundy/Archer/Smeltzer.

According to the Sox guys, Lopez spoke four languages and was accepted to med school.

At age 16.

Both parents are doctors. When Pablo was considering his options after getting drafted, Dad said, “You’ve got your whole life to go to med school. Why don’t you give baseball a shot?”

Jonas Salk's parents said the same thing!
