I've stocked up on Scotch.  It remains to be seen whether I have supply enough for the season or a month...

Scotch Whiskey?

I like the rotation but feel the bullpen needs at least one more legit arm. Excited that we should have a better defensive club. I can see the lineup being solid but can also see it struggling to score runs so we will see. I really hope they can play some clean baseball this year. There is no reason with a pretty experienced to see constant bonehead plays like last year. Bottom line: Twins will win 84 games and we will be lamenting that, once again, the bullpen wasn’t good enough.
Regarding the new uniforms etc I couldn’t care less. Much rather see clean winning baseball.

Adam,

Shame on you.  You should know better than to post an article portraying positivity.  This is Twins Daily, the home of doom, gloom, and complaining about every which way the wind is blowing.

This article should have been written by Randball Stu.  Every body here knows the front office needs to be fired, the manager needs to be fired, every FA signing is bad, and everybody needs to be replaced by somebody in the minors.

Shame on you for trying to be positive.

I can't go with you on the uniforms. They're brutally (in the sense of the brutalist school of architerure) awful.

You have bought into the hype the FO is feeding the fans. New uniforms don't make a winning team. Performance does. Will we see improved hitting? Manufacturing runs? Better base running? Throwing to the correct base? Better managerial decisions? Longer starts by pitchers in the rotation? A long relief pitcher or two to take the pressure off the bullpen? Improved health? The roster is full of players with health issues and Rocco hasn't proven to me that he's learned anything from his past mistakes. I don't drink their Kool-Aid. I want to actually see it happen first.

The way the injuries are starting to pile up, I may need a bit of Bacardi for my Kool-aid 🙄

Better that than the Jim Jones way some posters want to make it for the rest of us. Kool-Aid for the optimists, Jim Jones for the cynics and pessimists, Bacardi for the rest of us! 🙂

Scotch whiskey.

In the home of 3m?

Scotch tape, please!

And i think, to be frank, it would be an unsatisfactory replacement for bug juice (what i grew up calling cool aid... blame summer camp) as the sticky residue is part of the appeal.. I guess in tandem? No, i think not...
