Got to hand it to Megill.  He very rarely shows dominance.  He has to walk someone, or give up a hit to feel comfortable.

Seems to me the third through, hitters do better, whether they’re facing the starter or not

Should have left Archer in

1. Not Megill's best pitch

2. Hitter's count

3. Center cut

4. Judge's ability

5.  Rare time a Twins' reliever doesn't issue a walk

Result: Freeze, Gopher!!!!!!!!!!!!!

b4 Yanks came up, was thinking who do we go to ?.  1st choice was Jax he threw what 8-9 pitches yesterday, , Tie game made the choice for me,  Mc,gill was my 4 th choice

WHY do they pitch to Judge with game on the line? WHY? They aren't getting him out.

You know, maybe flipping Judge, might just stir things up.  we need an increase in blood flow.  We seem too meek, and we may need a little swagger ( even if false) just to put some pressure on.

25 pitches and 2 runs allowed, would Archer have done worse? I doubt it, this 5 innings then pull the starter strategy has been a failure

When will this fascination with Megill end? He's not good. He throws hard. So what? So does Pagan. Give me Moran or even Sisk, Winder, or Peacock from St. Paul first.

I think you have to take your chances with archer when the alternative is megilla gorilla

Megill seems to have given at least one run in every appearance since the All Star break.

Do we not have anyone better in the minors?  They always stuck with these guys for way too long.  Not sure who else was available,  but maybe don’t give the best hitter on the planet right now a shot at one of your worst bullpen arms in a tie game?

3rd time through, 1st batter hits, 2nd batter hits a home run is the worst possible scenario. Let your starters go 6, especially when they’re pitching well. A lot easier to manage the bullpen the last three innings than the last four
