Is everyone else shut out of mlb.tv too? even though it's the "free game of the day"?

BSN has the rights to the broadcast in Minnesota, it doesn’t matter if it’s “free” or not, they are not allowed to broadcast it

Old friend Aaron Hicks is having a rough go of things so far. Still signed for another 3 years after this.

Boy that trade was a doozy. Is JR Murphy still in the league?

Blackouts have nothing to do with in-person attendance, it's to protect the cable providers.

What a bummer!

Is IKF considered an old friend if he was on the team for a day?

Old acquaintance?

Looks like he finally fizzled out in 2020. Career -0.4 bWAR

Yankees will have 8-9-1 next inning. Does Rocco give sands the smeltzer treatment? Third time through, after all

If you're Rocco, do you pull Sands? Or do you let him go back out for the 4th and face LeMaheiu, Judge, etc for the 3rd time?

That’s….not good. He was highly touted by the yanks

Only if the Twins score a run (or more). I don't think Smeltzer would've gotten pulled if we were down in that situation.

Reading this game thread you would think it's 11-1 Yankees.  Couple hits and they are back in this game.

Honestly I'd pull Sands now, or maybe let him try and get the 8-9 guys and then pull him. No reason he should be facing any Yankee 3 times today.

Never trust a Yankees prospect is the moral of the story. They’re always way too overhyped.

I send him back out.  You could always pull him if Judge gets up as it will be 8-9-1.

The 1st inning looked scary, but Sands looks like he's got a smidgen of confidence now. If he could go 5 and somehow keep it at 3-1...who knows? At least they're not kicking 8 kinds of dog crap out of us...yet.

Ain’t that the truth. I could name a whole bunch of them that were the next big thing

I can’t help but think it’ll be Hicks that’ll kill us.  Done little all year like Schoop from Detroit then kills us cuz he’s an ex Twin.  We seem to have one on every team.

That's on the GM that trade.
