7/1/13 Scott diamond vs pettitte

7/2/13 Sam deduno vs Phil hughes

7/3/13 PJ walters (?!) vs sabatia

swept

yeah this was a bad one

I think Sands, Archer and Bundy are still worse and I don't think it's close. Both Deduno and Diamond had some very solid outings for the Twins over the course of 2+ years against good competition, I don't think the same can be said for our current trio.

Wasn't he a QB for the Bills a couple years ago?

Lol the name sounds vaguely, and I mean vaguely familiar, but I can’t remember him. And I worked in AAA at the time so I assume he came through at some point

If Bundy gives up less than five runs, I'll be shocked.

Hey hey one disaster game at a time here

Not all that confident in a bad AAA starter against the best lineup in the league, but I know the Twins success stories against the Yanks and how baseball works.

Yankees 12, Twins 3

PTC: Anyone who stays after the 5th inning.

On the baseball subreddit today, Yankees fans adorably included the Twins when they discussed their difficult schedule with top AL teams over the next 3 weeks. Feels good to be noticed!

That is interesting.  Good to be noticed, indeed!

Anyone think this would go any different?

Sands is just so overmatched, I can't think of another MLB pitcher who's less equipped to deal with this situation.

Sat down in front of the tube just in time for LeMahieu's brief PA.

Good thing you left when you did.

Welp, so much for hoping the Yankees wouldn't have a good enough advance scouting report on Sands.

Feels like we're in for a long series
