Congrats to Palacios! Always great to see a rook get their first hit, especially guys who aren't that highly regarded. I'll be interested to see if they add him to the 40 man roster after the COVID guys are clear, or if they try to sneak him through waivers. I think he's can have very similar production to Gordon, with a little less speed but more power and the ability to play SS.

As a covid replacement, he didn’t have to be placed on the 40 man to appear in MLB, and doesn't need to be waived or burn an option to return to the minors.

I believe you have to still be sent through waivers to go back down. Didn't that happen with Cotton? Maybe I am wrong.

I appreciate that he re-signed with the organization after being traded. It's a win-win. We got Odorizzi for several seasons and now have Palacios back.

Sands giving up 4 runs in 3 innings is far less embarrassing than having 1 hit through 4 innings by a guy who made his MLB debut 6 hours ago and is only here because of 3 or 4 different injuries.

I wonder how much wagu a burger has to contain to be a "wagu burger"?  Would one pound wagu and 999 pounds regular beef do it?  Does the FDA Have rules about this?  Does my medication need adjusting?
