Let's leave former Secretarys of State and European nations invaded by Russia out of the game thread. Maybe take it to the Jeopardy board.

Kthanks.

Twins are performing like they are still playing the Royals.

Bad feeling about when they face the Yankees.

With the current state of the bullpen and rotation the bats are really going to have to show up over the next 2 weeks or this team could lose a lot of games.

Yeah, someone mentioned it earlier but don't have good Vibes about this road trip. At all.

Starting it with Buxton and Correa on the bench because...why again?...not something I agree with.

That's gonna be an ugly series. I think the Twins may be at .500 by the end of next week

Agreed. Put the best players in there to try to steal a W.

If they can return to the days when the Yankees were just another team, THAT, will probably set a tone for the rest of the season.

The key moment in this Memorial Day game was Sanchez running Schoop back to third.  If he had the ball in his mitt instead of his bare hand he could have tagged Schoop out when he flopped out of bounds.  Instead he had to turn his body way around to make the tag.

Larnach has had a good bat, now its time to take it to the Tigers.

And Miranda making an ill advised throw when he should have just held onto that ball

I guess Torkelson showed Miranda how to make the play that Miranda didn't that would have gotten the Twins out of that inning with the score tied at 4 in the 7th. That is the key play in my book. Torkelson was the batter for Miranda's gaff and Miranda was the batter for Torkelson's get.

Miranda absolutely should have tried for the 3rd out just like Torkelson just did.  He just needs to make the throw.  Eating it makes absolutely no sense.

Absolutely correct. He had enough time, but he tried to lead Smith while moving away from him. It was a tough play, but doable.

Torkelson made a good play. I don’t think it was as difficult as the play Miranda tried to make.

A more experienced first baseman probably makes that play, which the Twins don't currently have on their roster.
