You know who I feel bad for?  All those invalids and shut ins who look forward to one thing during their day.  They finish dinner early, so they can watch the Twins.  Obviously, Twins aren't going to win most, but these people do deserve a better looking team and effort.

Honestly hadn't thought of it that way until someone mentioned that he looked unhappy about coming into the game.  At this point there's probably an exponentially rising cost to his blown saves and HR's given up, and not that much to be gained unless he's lights out every time.

I know the percentage of right vs left is present, but Gordon has had far more at bats recently at the MLB level.  Gordon is much faster that Astudillo, and I think Gordon has a higher on-base IQ.  I leave Gordon hit and save Astudillo.

What’s with all the Rage Against the Machine in the stadium this year?  Haven’t the players made a case for nothing but Primus based on their play?
