Game Thread—Twins @ Cleveland 5:10 PM

[bighat]

Wish I didn't feel this way, but I am 100% sure the Twins are going to lose this game.

[cHawk]

you can’t win in the majors without a good bullpen, the Twins know that yet didn’t seriously address that. Duffey and Rogers are just so so IMO, both have been good at times, both have gotten shelled plenty

They’ve been solid for the Twins, they’ve thrown hard. Duffey though for some reason has lost velocity and all of his control.

[wsnydes]

Depends on what you trust them to do...

And throwing baseballs isn't one of them...

[LVTwinsfan]

Rogers must have inherited runners scored, leaving that out is not telling the whole story

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

If Perez reaches, he will at least be the trail runner, so his speed won’t hurt us

location is at least as important as speed, and honestly I’ve never really trusted either of them, I guess that’s just me

[RickOShea]

I always wondered how a manager would act with a brain tumor.  Thanks Rocco for the insight.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

And changing speed, timing

[LVTwinsfan]

Need to turn two and we got the speedy Perez at the plate

[wsnydes]

This is going well...

[bighat]

Welp that ougtta do it.

[FlauerPauer]

Fastball down the middle. Yikes. See you all tomorrow.

[Aggies7]

So who we trading at the ol deadline?

[mrtwinsfan]

oh no AGAIN !!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Deep strategery

[LVTwinsfan]

You gotta walk this guy

[h2oface]

And he just keeps throwing it right down the middle....

[wsnydes]

Strategery...

[Danchat]

Everyone says it's "bad luck"... but Rogers' real problem is that he leaves his pitches in the heart of the plate in 2 strike counts.

[bighat]

Good lord just put us out of our misery already.

[Dave The Dastardly]

Heimlich Remover?

[LVTwinsfan]

Okay that works

[h2oface]

THEY MADE A BIG LEAGUE PLAY!!!!!!!!!!

[bighat]

Donaldson - calm, cool, collected with the perfect throw. Coulda used that in Oakland a couple days ago.

[cHawk]

Extra innings. I’ll take the L

[Mill1634]

Nice work Rogers

[shortround81]

SO YOU'RE SAYING THERE'S A CHANCE!!!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Turtle trots out to second base to start the 10th

Wait, do turtles trot?

[cHawk]

Are Rogers and Duffey just not good or are they not executing?

[mrtwinsfan]

10TH INNING, WHAT BAD CAN HAPPEN ?? Go twins, all except Rocco
