Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Astudillo's catching defense just cost of 2 bases and a run
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 My only doubt comes from the possibility of some team like the Yankees offering him an ungodly sum of money that the Twins aren't willing to match. Only the Evil Empire could pay two right-handed hitters 30 mill+/season to DH ... I would vomit
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Do they call him La Tortuga because of his physique or because of his speed behind the plate?
Twodogs Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Astrudillo is struggling behind the plate. I wonder if he was ever the best option behind the plate? Maybe little league?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 What a horrible umpire!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 this is turning into a very ticklish situation
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Astudillo looks like he is wincing just before he catches every pitch now. He has not clue, it seems, where the ball is going.
twinbythebay Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 I wouldn't mind Jeffers coming in as a defensive sub in the 7th...

He has not clue, it seems, where the ball is going. Maybe that's why Wisler bounced around. The other teams didn't have anyone who could catch him.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 And that’s why Baldelli likes to pull the starter before the damage starts in the 3rd time though the batting order.

I would vomitI wouldn't put it past them... Although perhaps it's more likely he goes to the Dodgers or some other large market NL team if they decide to keep the DH around next season.
