USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 If my point was mute, then no one could hear itWhich would render it moot.
denarded Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 This lineup for game 2 makes no sense. We have 2 days off coming up. We have 2 of the last 5 days of the season off. Sweeping a double header is hard. We run out a get-away lineup is dumb. You all can talk about that seedings don't matter in the playoffs, but I beg to differ. I realize were winning, but this is not what I would do. Also, I wasn't AL Manager of the Year in 2019

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Twins future is looking very bright. Rooker and Jeffers look like natural hitters, and Twins haven't even seen Lewis, Kiriloff, or Larnach yet in a regular season.

twinbythebay Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 He said Rookers first home run shouldn’t be far off, next pitch..goneDamn... That's a far more impressive call than the Sano call. You're never really going out on much of a limb by calling a Sano HR in any given at-bat.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 It feels like the Twins have played their best against the Cardinals this year... which is odd, since they're a pretty good team.

This is as good of an argument as any for letting Rosario walk next year. All of those guys would be making <10% of what Rosie would make.
Sielk Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Nice for Rooker to get his first homer in his childhood favorite's ballpark. I have to say, I am impressed with Rooker's at bats so far. It was always said he strikes out a lot so I expected to see some wild chases. But he takes some really close pitches.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Mrs Chief and I like to go out to breakfast before church, and Sunday we went to a local Mexican eatery. I love the spicy food, but it...gives me gas. We were sitting in church, and I really had to flatulate. I couldn't hold it any more, so I let one go. Fortunately, it was of the silent variaty. Mrs Chief gave me a sour look. "I had to," I whispered to Mrs Chief. "But it was a silent one." She looked at me for just a second, then whispered, "Time to change the batteries on your hearing aids, dear."
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 I know that Dobnak has found success in his young major league career, but do you guys see him sustaining his success with a k/9 rate as low as his is? 4.8 k/9 this year compared to 7.3 k/9 last year.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 It'd be really, really welcome if Josh Donaldson turned out healthy and hot.
