At some point, Rocco is gonna learn how to manage a pitching staff and know when to get a guy out of the game.  Today hasn't been a good day for him in those terms.

well, we don't know that, for one, especially if he stretches at all, like a first baseman, and two, that's no excuse for not having his foot on the plate.

The smoke and mirrors is coming to an end for Dobnak. I'm surprised it has lasted as long as it has. He's no Scott Diamond, eh?

Dobnak did not pick a good time to start struggling on the mound. Two out of his last three games have been extremely poor and with Odorizzi almost back there will be competition for the back of the rotation spots.

I tend to agree. I think when he settles in he’ll be an Uber driver
