This one’s easy for me. I don’t expect them to win anything in playoffs. So if they do, I’m pleasantly surprised.

 

I don't either. This doesn't not look like a team who can turn it on against better competition.

Looks like Hildy's not going to be a useful contributor to this team for the forseeable future. Too bad for the guy, hope he gets his mojo back and catches on somewhere else.

I'm done watching this garbage heap of a 9th inning. Thankfully, it appears as though Cleveland will lose, so the magic number will likely drop again.

Out of town on work until Wednesday evening, so probably not, though I could make a run up on Thursday. With a 1:10 start and kids in school, I’m guessing that tickets will be available at the last minute, doncha think?

Though this inning sounds like I’m listening to a Tigers game right now.

How the hell is Hildenberger the next guy up after Rogers in a close game? That amazes me.

 

I think Rocco figured "well, it looks like we're going to lose - let's not burn any more good arms tonight".

 

Rocco is pretty notorious for waving the white flag and hasn't been shy about it (last Sunday in Cleveland was a great example).

 

He's also pinning his hopes on Philly holding on tonight. A Philly win is as good as a Twins win right now.

Agree Hildenberger is bad, but Rocco put him there. I swear sometimes I think he doesn’t realize we’re in a pennant race. This thing is not locked up!

I honestly feel terrible for hildenberger

 

I feel bad for the Twins fans that came to a game expecting a competitive team and seeing Hildenberger pitching in the 9th in a 2 run game
