TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 And this is why you don't bring your closer in for a non-save situation, especially after pitching 2 innings yesterday. May couldn't have gone another inning?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 That was all on DIAZ,= IF HE KEEPS HIS JOB AT 3RD , I WILL BE IN SCHOCK
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Is this really happening?
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Schoop is not good at hitting, probably Diaz sent him.yeah but with one out, two chances, Kepler hits after schoop
bighat Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Gotta throw Santana something to hit here, scary to think what could happen....
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Even yesterday with Cron and 2 outs-he was out by such a ridiculous amount, you can't send a guy when the only way he's safe is if the OF throws it to the backstop. With Puig/Cron yesterday. If the ball was up the line either way. Cron could have scored. They forced Puig to make a professional throw and he did. You gotta make a quick decision... Sometimes it works... Sometimes it doesn't. The odds are against you either way, because a hit is a 3 out of 10 coin flip. Today... They had 1 out. A Fly Ball or squibber to the left or right of any infielder by Schoop wins the game. Brutal Decision... Not even a teaching moment bad decision because it was completely obvious. You call him into the office and you yell at him.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 We had our chance, this ones on Diaz
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Hahahahahahaha cant make it up
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Get Diaz off this team immediately
bighat Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Wow, couldn't have been worse! Holy &&&***##@%#
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 This is gonna hurt 10000000 times worse. Don’t even blame Rogers. Tinpot ownership
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Nice decision, Rocco. One of these days, just ONE of these blessed days, you'll figure out the right puzzle to the bullpen. Today wasn't it. And that 3rd base coach should not be allowed to accompany the team to Milwaukee.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Welp, back to NASCAR!
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 This is gonna hurt 10000000 times worse. Don’t even blame Rogers. Tinpot ownership Blaming ownership? LOL
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 You can’t have your third base coach losing games for you
bighat Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 I just turned the game on here in the 10th. It's not Diaz or Rogers....I think it's ME!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Blaming ownership? LOLDon't forget Management!!!!!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Blaming ownership? LOLYeah because we had to use him for two innings yesterday because we traded for an injured reliever and have NO ONE ELSE worth a **** that can get big outs in this situations. Clearly had nothing today, shouldn’t have been out there
HawksNest Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 This past week has been an unmitigated disaster. What a nightmare home stand against top competition.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Yeah because we had to use him for two innings yesterday because we traded for an injured reliever and have NO ONE ELSE worth a **** that can get big outs in this situations. Clearly had nothing today, shouldn’t have been out there Romo, Stashak, Dobnak. I'd have been fine with 2 of those 3. But not the closer in a non-save situation unless the game got later.
sftwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 One of the more brutal losses in memory. With this, Buxton out awhile, Kluber coming back-I'd be shocked at this point if they won the division. All momentum and confidence belongs to Cleveland at this point.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Anybody listening to the radio, I’ll bet Gladdens not afraid to voice his opinion about Diaz
Crow2012 Provisional Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 This one hurt. Lost a 4 game lead in the division in a week. Bullpen before the 10th inning was solid. This part of the season is a dark time for the Twins let’s just see how they respond after today
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Because the bullpen has so few reliable arms, Rogers and Romo both threw too many pitches yesterday. Hence, nothing left for today. Thanks Falvine!
howeda7 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 It feels like the Division race ended today. And a WC game does nothing for me after where we were. Sigh.
