I’m not going to debate the difference between Rosario and Schoop. It’s apparent.

I get being contrarian, but come on.

You said the Twins punted the game by Schoop's AB there when Eddie did something almost exactly the same an inning before.  I get the piling on Schoop, but I am just trying to be reasonable about it.

Not exactly answering the bell are we?  Tough to watch, but we are just a different ball club without Buxton.

Perez is toast. Good thing the front office didn't upgrade the rotation...

I'd love for Parker or another TD writer to discuss the fall of Perez this year. I thought the new cutter was going to save his career. Now, from my untrained eye, teams aren't biting on the cutter anymore.

I'm not sure you can really use that narrative in this game.  They are a better club with him in the lineup but how much difference would Buck out there have made?

boy, the twins sure do know how to take the momentum of a walkoff win and just catapult it out the window.

Not at all. Scouting report is out. Cutter isn't/wasn't that good to begin with. Dude had a flash month, kinda like Jeremy Lin a while back.

Nah the whole team are struggling, Buxton is not gonna make a difference.

Oopsie, Jose Ramirez hits a 2 run HR, 2-0 Cleveland, bottom of the 7th.

Their best hitter hitting makes them a much better team. Ramirez's 2nd-half OPS is .993...and apparently rising.

He was bound to come around some point.  Had an OPS of .939 all of last season....which makes his OPS of .652 in the 1st half even more remarkably awful.

It's one of the reasons the narrative of "Cleveland will lose a lot once they start playing good teams" is not something I'd want to hang my hat on.

Agreed. I prefer the narrative of "take care of business on your own end" so that you don't have to worry about what Cleveland is doing.
