Nice. I think it's especially important for the Twins to maintain a multi-run lead here because it will ensure Oakland will go to their bullpen B squad. With a huge series with the Astros starting tomorrow, they have every incentive to rest their best relievers.

I’ll remember that next time I see you tied to the train tracks.

I always have a knife on me ... I'll be fine.

Okay ... gotta run ... hope I come back to good news ... but will be preparing for ... not good news.

according to azsnakepit.com, it can be done: 47 pitchers in history have picked up four-inning saves, facing the minimum 12 batters and allowing no hits or walks.

I'm more Dudley than Snidely.

I had you categorized as Nell. That could have been a faux pas, if I had said it out loud.

Pineda is at 93 pitches, Harper was warming in the pen. Will be an interesting decision to make coming back out of this half inning.

I hope that no matter what Rogers is allowed to rest today.

Harper warming up would suggest the decision has already been made.

To use on the rope? Or Snidely?

I would guess both, plus a few of Snidely's henchmen.

Expectations. Buxton still gets the same treatment. Rosario did when he was swinging at everything. These are players that have been expected to be stars for years. We have been told that they are capable of being outstanding hitters. When they fail, it's only natural for everyone to offer opinions about the reasons.

Adrianza? Castro? Nobody really expects them to hit, so none of us is surprised when they fail. Kepler and Polanco get some flak when they go into a slump, but this year they have been fairly consistent.

I mean Rosario still swings at bad pitches, gets on base less than Sano because he swings at bad pitches, and goes through long stretches of slumps at times.  He doesn't get the same treatment as Sano.
