A note on the name of this thread....

 

Josh Hamilton vs. Justin Morneau in the Home Run Derby was incredible.

As a baseball fan, I was pretty concerned for the guy, given his past issues with drugs and alcohol. However, I learned that he’s getting inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame and is recovering well! One of the most exciting players of his era.

Still partial to Tom Kelly. Whoever he was working with (usually Bremer) would almost have to force him to say something, but I always felt smarter after listening to him for a game. Definitely not a natural, outspoken type. But IMO one of the great baseball minds ever.

Hamilton gets inducted Aug 17 before the rangers host theTwins.

At this point with how consistent Pineda has been lately I'd take him over almost anybody in our rotation to start an important game.

I think he's finally getting back after being out for so long. But then I say that ... I could've just jinxed it.
