FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Sweet, may setting up for the homer.....
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Lead off walk. Don’t do this to me today
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Don't worry guys, Trevor's out here doing Trevor things.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 May and Harper. Not a pair to go with. What happened to the pitching guru? Is he taking long naps?
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 The finger in the dyke holds....still think the Twins are going to need more runs to win this one.in the old days they called that a dutch boy.
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 This is almost comical at this point
bighat Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Please Trevor, not today buddy. Not today. If the Twins ever needed a scoreless inning, it's right now man.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Trevor May might be the second best bullpen arm this team has. Let that sink in.
Jham Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Controversial take: Trevor May has never been good. *there was a 2 month stretch in summer 2017 where he was actually good.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Did you see that throw from Kepler? Proves my earlier posted theory...Kepler throws worm burners from CF but has a cannon from RF
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Once the offense slowed down (yes they have 5 runs today but have missed so many chances for weeks), it was only a matter of time before the pitching did us in
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 We need a new reliever after this batter.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Trevor May might be the second best bullpen arm this team has. Let that sink in. He's never been that. Parker is better and maybe Harper as well. May is a fringe bullpen guy on most MLB teams and should be used as such. Unfortunately the Twins treat this 30 year-old with a 4.69 career ERA like he's got All-Star potential. Looks like this lead will be blown unfortunately. Bring on the Yankees.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Twins have left 24 men on base through six innings.

jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Why do I subject myself to this on a regular basis?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Castro the golve man. The recent homers have come off the curve. He can't control it. Why use it? Because Trevor says, in his interviews, he likes his stuff.....
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I'm to the point where I'd like to see Berrios tweeting about the Twins only getting cash for DJ Heybeef.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I bet the Yankees are shaking in their boots boarding the plane for MN
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Castro the golve man.Yeah, but had it bounced higher he would've framed the crap out of it.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Nice flopMy thought too. Give him the charging call he wants, Blue, but don't give him any extra leeway on balls and strikes.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Luckily for this lifelong Twins fan, I've got some things to do that will take me away from the game/Internet for the rest of the day. Hope the Twins somehow pull this one off, can't say I feel too good about it. Hang in there everyone.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Wow if not for that wild pitch that would have been unreal
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Hell of a job by may to only give up 1..Probably shouldnt have even given up that
